A massive search and rescue operation is under way in south-western China after one of the most powerful earthquakes in decades.

(I did have this whole other entry written, but it got lost somehow and so I’m just going to run this post.)

Greetings from Kenya!

…Each evening we held a revival meeting with the local believers. God blessed those times so much as we experienced Him wanting to strengthen the church. Kwale is a difficult region right now because they are experiencing a severe drought that has lasted several years and many people have died of starvation. During our last night of the evening revivals, we prayed together with the church members crying out in repentance and asking the Lord to send rain on this barren land. The moment that the meeting ended, a downpour of rain came and we all had to run for cover.

But as we ran, everyone was crying out in praise to God for sending rain that has not been seen in years and will save lives. Our tents were a little soggy that night but none of us really minded because the rain was a blessing from the Lord…
